GE Money Early Exit Fee Waived

by Administrator on February 19, 2009

ge_money_exit_fees_waived1GE Money borrowers will be able to exit their loans without being charged an early exit fee if their loan is less than 5 years has elapsed after the loan was settled. This is also know as the Deferred Administration Fee (DAF) .

News came out today that GE Money will not be passing on the recent 1% rate cut claiming the high cost of funds on the wholesale markets. That’s funny to hear because many other non bank lenders are not feeling the same pinch as GE Money. I believe they want their customers to refinance and refinance quickly by making them pay at least 2% higher than any other bank.

There is one condition to their offer, it is only available for a three month period from March 1, 2009 to May 31, 2009.

If you are looking to refinance from GE Money to a reputable lender please contact us as soon as possible.

I have a loan with GE money which is being overseen by savings and loan
( formally Austral Loans).
I have only today found out that I was able to refinance without having to pay your exit fee if done in a three month period.
Who do I have to question as to why no one bothered to let me know as I would have refinanced instead of paying a ridiculously high interest rate.

I hope you can help me.
I received a letter from GE MONEY. It is in regards to my GECAF account ending in 1797.
If you can not help me, would it be possible for you to direct me to the right department? It would be very much appreciated. I do not have the credit card, or I could have found a phone number on the back of the card.

The best way would be to give me a phone number.

Thank You.
